Dracula's Castle - Bran - Romania

Bran, 26km south-west of Brasov, is an important tourism destination. Dracula's Castle, Romania's most famous tourist sight is the main attraction in Bran. The hills and mountain area offers endless opportunities for hiking, biking, horse riding and the like. Also is a good base for exploring the wild Bucegi and Piatra Craiului ranges. Bran is close to Upper Moeciu, Lower Moeciu, and Rasnov, citadel that still impresses today for its interesting position and well-preserved ruins.

Regular buses link Brasov to Rasnov, Bran and Moeciu. Buses leave from Brasov approximately every half hour, taking about one hour to reach Bran, and another 10 minutes to Moeciu de Jos.
