Brasov is located at 160 km from Bucharest, in the central part of the the country, surrounded by the Carpathians, being considered Romania's second town. Brasov's natural touristic potential is closely tied with its lanscapes, since the nearest Eastern and Southern Carpathians might fulfil any tourist's desires or tastes, who are eager for practicing either Winter or Summer Season sports (skiing, snowboarding, sleigh riding,

ice-skating or swimming, horse riding, mount climbing), diverse resorts (Poiana Brasov, Predeal, Sinaia, Balea) offer tourists a wide range of facilities to spend treasure time. Old medieval architecture and well preserved historical edifices enhance the cultural part of the town, while quality entertainment is few steps away, waiting to be delighted!

Brasov has no airport, although Turkish investors plan to build one. There is a well-developed network of railway lines, and trains usually run on time. Renting a car is very expensive in Romania, and renting in Brasov may mean they have to fetch it from Bucharest first. Inside the city you may use the bus and trolley system.
